Subject: Question about your duck
I love your commercials! Especially the one with Yogi Berra. I was just wondering though, is that really a trained duck? Does he (or she) actually say "AFLAC"?? If it is real, how did you manage to find such a duck? Did you audition a bunch of ducks until you found one who could say "AFLAC!" on command? Or did you find a specially trained duck and teach him (or her) to say that? I'm just wondering because I have a pet duck named Wiggles that I'd like to teach that skill to. Perhaps you could get me in contact with your duck trainer? I would be so greatful for any information you could provide.
Thank you,
Jacky Maille

Dear Jackie-
Thank you for your e-mail below and your kind words about our advertising. While we do use real ducks in our Aflac commercials and they are trained to do various tasks, they do not quack Aflac. We actually use the voice of Gilbert Gottfried for the “Aflac” quacks. While they do quack and sometimes it sounds like Aflac, we do not train them for this specifically. Gilbert’s voice is used when we edit the commercials.
Thank you!Regards,
Jennifer
